Every year I watch as advertisers begin to promote their
products for the Holiday Period. For retail this is their
busiest time and sales usually make or break a company’s year.
I’m not here to play scrooge, I would however like people to
think a little about what the holidays are really about.
Perhaps it’s me getting a year older and wiser, but as I look
around at the world it really makes me understand that our time
on this earth isn’t a long one and that

The 2007-2008 NHL playoffs are read-to-go – and it took the last games of the regular season yesterday in the Eastern Conference to begin the seeding. And a good thing for the NHL this time around – we get to see some serious rivalries. I can’t wait for a few games of “Old-Time Hockey”!Here’s a quick break-down, of my predictions, for the first round.
(1) Montreal Canadiens vs. (8) Boston Bruins
And the domination continues for the Habs. 8-0 against my home-town

The second largest city in Canada, Montreal is also one of the largest French-speaking cities in the world, alongside Paris and Kinshasa. The city rests on the Island of Montreal at the confluence of the Saint Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers. The Quays of the Old Port Montreal was once a thriving worldwide port 350 years ago, but shipping now exists further east, leaving the Old Port as a one of the city’s most historically preserved areas.

Canada seems to be the forgotten land in North American travel. Compared to the variety offered in the U.S. or the exotic Romance of Mexico, what can Canada offer that neither of the other two countries in the content can? If nothing else, there’s Montreal, a city unlike any in either the U.S. or Mexico. I’ve heard it said that Montreal is the most European city in North America. Having never been to Europe, I cannot honestly say that Montreal

Tonight’s tilt between the underdog Boston Bruins and the heavily favoured Montreal Canadiens is a pivotal Game 7 matchup of two of the original six’s rivalries. The series has been prolonged thus far by the never say die mentality of the Boston Bruins. Montreal roared out to a three games to one advantage, and were playing on home ice with a chance to clinch the series. The Bruins responded with a sound thrashing of Montreal in the

We will never forget the most wildly euphoric evening of our lives. We were working difficult hours in the ever blooming city of Montreal. A day off together was a rare thing indeed; and we always treated such an occasion with great value.
It was a perfect sunny summer’s day. We loved picnics; and we loved the Montreal parks. We started our special day with a walking tour of Mount Royal Park;along paths and over grass, weaving
